Immediately following its opening, Václav Strasser's Rainbow Bubbles received the prestigious Jirí Trnka Award from The Czech Dramatic Artists' Union.

Since then, the work of this outstanding Czech mime and clown has enchanted hundreds of thousands of people in Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Russia, and Egypt.

Strasser's universal appeal is doubtless linked to the fact that, instead of spoken dialogue, his act is based upon situational humor, the spell of the moment, and the magical beauty of soap bubbles.

The performance begins with classic clown sketches set in a modern adaptation. A series of comic gags - spiced with the protagonist's charm - make audiences of all ages laugh.

Later, viewers are drawn into a temporary and fragile word of color and glitter as Strasser produces a variety of different-sized soap bubbles, which appear and vanish before the astonished audience's eyes. No matter how many times you watch them, you will be charmed, moved and surprised every time!. It's a performance to remember!

Václav Strasser is a conservatory graduate, pantomime course lecturer, and author of a dozen full-length silent theater comedies that have received more than 900 performances throughout Europe.
