A man finds himself stepping into a room full of huge rubber balls and small objects. This strange situation gives him the freedom to be a kid again, and to realize his dreams of once again being young. He is able to forget reality when he discovers his need to move and play. This is a circus act about the creativity of both the human body and the human mind, and the capacity to stretch one's imagination to its limits. |

Circus artist - Acrobat, Rauli Kosonen
One man, an empty floor, lots of huge rubber balls, and a microphone. The show relies solely on the acrobatics and movement skills of Rauli Kosonen, with a story based on physical performance and unspoken language. The set is very simple, consisting only of floor mats and rubber balls. Rauli’s onstage character is a reflection of his desire to stay young and playful, both in mind and spirit. Through this character, the audience is able to peek inside the performer's head to get an idea of how sequences and time work together to help achieve the impossible acrobatic moves — and how important it is to enjoy what we do!
The show moves quickly from one short scene to another, adding an element of surprise to each situation so that the audience never knows what will happen next. The accompanying electronic music — a mixture of jazz and hip hop elements — adds to the atmosphere of the performance. The show contains beat boxing and other noises, all of which take the performance to an even more absurd direction. A fun, daring and explosive show for all. |
