About the artist:
"Brinum" is the translation of "Wonder" in Latvian. The X at the end is supposed to connote mystery. BRINUM-X has been working professionally in magic & entertainment since 1991. They appeared in numerous of the Latvian television programs such as the 2003 Latvian Big Brother edition, and in theatre festivals in France, Italy and the Baltic countries to include The Festival of Avignon, Aurillac Street Theatre Festival, and Riga's 800 years Festival Celebration. We have been the artistic directors for the middle age festival held in Riga in the summer of 2004, during The XVI International Festival of Ancient Music. In 1999, 2000 and 2004 they have been the special effects consultant for four productions of the Latvian National theatre ("Mary Poppins," "Around the world in 80 days," "Middle Ages Mystery," "The Doll House.") In the 2001 they wrote a book of magic tricks which was published in Latvia by Jumava, translated into English and French and distributed all over Canada and the U.S.A. by Tormont. In October 2002 they were consultants for the special effects with bubbles and giant soap bubbles for the new video clip of the popular Russian rock group "Mumjy Trolls." In December 2003, in Istanbul, the group took part in a Television program about magic and illusion hosting also Jeff Mc Bride, Peter Marvey, Finn John and other magicians from all over the world ("Hokus Pokus" ATV channel, Turkey).

Enrico Pezzoli, or the "creative" mind, graduated from The University of Bologna, Italy with a degree in theater history and drama direction. Enrico made his first magic show at age 14 and took part in his first magic competition in 1984 at age 15. In the 1991 Enrico established and directed a private theater company in Italy, specializing in comedy and Children Theater. After the experience with the theater group, he started to mix his first passion, magic tricks, with Theater and Commedia Dell'Arte, which he studied for many years in France, during The Avignon Festival and various festivals in Italy. Consequently he started to work in clowning and street theater. From 1991 till 1995 he worked in Italy with his magic and theater show, polishing his own style and character. In 1995 Enrico met Dace in Germany, during a workshop about Circus art..

Dace Pezzoli (Translated "Pecoli"in Latvian ) the "manager" mind, finished her study in the University of Riga, with a degree in Pedagogy. She opened in 1990 and directed till 1994 a kindergarten in Riga, using the Circus game and magic tricks as a tool to develop the creativity of children. Dace developed her skills in theater and circus during two international workshops, one in Sweden in 1993, around the theme of theater and music, another in Germany, in 1995 around the theme of circus. After to have lived and performed one year in Italy, the couple moved to Latvia and founded their group "BRINUM-X".
