BREIS (breeze) is a London based rap artist, writer and workshop facilitator originally from Nigeria. He has a passion for young people and is concerned about their education. His name stands for Brother Reaching Each Inner Soul. He describes his music as BAM (British-African Music), a fusion of hip hop, jazz and African percussion.

BREIS has toured internationally in various countries such as France, Portugal, New York, Mauritius, Norway, Holland, Spain and Japan to name but a few. He raps from the heart and is a refreshing, witty lyricist dealing with a range of topics. His songs are thought provoking, spiritual and infectious with humorous wordplay. He raps mainly in English, but also incorporates Yoruba (Nigeria) and Pigdin English. Hoping to inspire and uplift his listeners is why his name stands for Brother Reaching Each Inner Soul. To see him perform live is a treat.
The Identity EP (King Solomon Records) is the latest release from BREIS, available on download from iTunes.com. He is currently working on his forthcoming album.
About the artist:
BREIS has also visited hundreds of schools all over England facilitating rap and poetry workshops. His passion for the education of young people led to him setting up his own company called Student of Life Ltd, which runs programs in schools that address the themes of Identity, the power of words and having higher aspirations. BREIS' ability to be a flexible multi-faceted artist has made him a highly recommended workshop facilitator and very respected and sought after rap artist.

- Wrote and acted in a multi-discipline Nigerian musical, entitled Ife(shown at the Southbank) (2008)
- Power in the voice mentoring/performances in Mozambique, Zambia and Mauritius (2007)
- S4L Higher aspiration Norwood school tour (2007)
- Performing at the Busara Music festival in Zanzibar (2006)
- Science educational workshops at the Natural History Museum (2005)
- Working with PAN (Org. against violence and racism) in schools/community centres (2005)
- Script writing and music production for Oily cart's Hippity Hop (a show that toured in 2005 all over UK for babies - 4year olds)
